The prompt of this project was to take inspiration from one song on any given album and recreate the cover art based on the song. I chose the song Ultralight Beam, by Kanye West, which is a gospel influenced song. This song is all about God and his personal faith, which I chose to represent with a theme reflecting heaven. The front cover features a rising sun casting rays over the orange background as Kanye stands in a way that looks like prayer. The back cover uses the same rays but over a cloudy sky to help illustrate the heavenly feel that the song conveys.
